Twin Towns

The town of Schwäbisch Gmünd can look back on more than 30 years of tradition in respect to its relationship with towns in Europe and the USA. It all began in 1971 with ties to Barnsley in South Yorkshire, Great Britain. Five years later, Antibes, France was twinned with Schwäbisch Gmünd. This was followed by Bethlehem, USA and Székesfehévár, Hungary in 1991. The most recent twinning was with Faenza, Italy in 2001.
